AirWatch : control WATCHOUT™ over the air
Description
With AirWatch, you can control your WATCHOUT™ show/presentation on your production computer from your iPod touch or iPhone (over the air).
How to use
The PC running WATCHOUT™ Production should be reachable by a Wifi network.
Your iPhone/iPod touch should be connected to this network.
- Launch WATCHOUT™ Production.
- Enable remote control : File | Preferences | Control | check Accept TCP/IP Control of Production Computer.
- Get the IP address of the PC : Windows Start Menu | Run | cmd /K ipconfig.
- Launch AirWatch on the iPhone/iPod touch.
- Click the i icon to flip to the settings page.
- Enter the IP address found in 3-.
- Click Done (keyboard), the status icon should turn green.
- Click Done (top right) to go pack to the control page.
On the Settings page, you can add/order/delete/reorder Cue names.
Action on the Control page should be straightforward.
- If you tap a Cue name, WATCHOUT™ will go to this Cue
- Prev will move to the previous cue in the list. When at first, it will continue to go to the first at each tap on Prev
- Next is similar. It will move to next cue in the list, and repeat the last one when at the end.
- Online/Offline is not available in WATCHOUT™ 3
The IP address and cue names are saved when you quit the application.
